Our client is an established Water Treatment Company that is now recruiting for a Water Treatment Equipment Engineer. This is a varied and largely autonomous technical position, predominantly field-based, focusing on delivering solutions and service to the highest possible standards.

 

Primary Objectives

•            Commissioning of specialist water treatment equipment.

•            Technical site surveys

•            Producing site specific method statements, technical reports and commissioning checklists.

•            Fault diagnosis and repairs.

•            Project management.

•            Delivering practical, technical training to Company engineers, and customers.

•            Supporting the sales and Operations departments.

•            Supporting the other departments in the business with technical queries and solutions.

•            Staying up to date with technological developments in the industry to ensure the company maintains its competitive position.

 

Qualifications / Experience

•            Extensive knowledge and understanding of a wide range of water treatment plant including water softeners, UV Systems, Chlorine Dioxide and other chemical dosing systems.

•            In depth understanding of critical and relevant technical documents including HSG274 and ACoP L8.

•            Understanding of water treatment chemistry.

•            Plumbing and/or electrical qualifications or experience are beneficial, but not mandatory.

•            Good computing skills, including the use of Microsoft Office suite.

•            Educated to a minimum of A Levels, higher qualifications would be beneficial.

•            Minimum 5 years practical and relevant site experience.

•            Excellent planning, organising and communication skills.

•            Full Valid UK Driving licence
