Our client is an expanding well established water treatment company based in the Northeast of England specialising in providing water treatment products and services.
They are seeking an experienced field-based water treatment equipment engineer to join their team ideally in the North West
Reporting to the Account/Operations Manager the ideal candidate will work nationally, have working knowledge and experience of water treatment plants and equipment, servicing, installing, and commissioning a variety of water treatment systems including:
- Water softeners
- Reverse Osmosis/ Demin systems,
- Filtration, and Dosing Equipment.
- UV units
- Basic water analysis
- Closed system dosing and analysis
- Calorifier pasteurisation
- Disinfections of buildings & chlorination of water tanks
- Pre-commissioning cleans and flushing
- Spa balance tank cleans
- Water hygiene tasks including, temperatures, sampling, show head cleans
- TMV servicing/testing
Successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Routine servicing and attendances to clients’ installations
- Carry out removal of obsolete systems and installation of new equipment
- Carry out call out attendances to diagnose and repair faults and installations.
- Providing technical assistance on company products for clients
- Complete reports accurately on-site visits.
- Water hygiene tasks for clients

Package
- Salary £30k to £32k (dependant on experience and skills)
- Monday – Friday – 40 hours a week
- Full time permanent position following probation period
- 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays - additional day for each year worked to maximum 5 additional days.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- City & Guilds (or equivalent)
- Recognised qualification/working knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering.
- Existing knowledge of water treatment with at least 5 years’ experience
- Water hygiene experience of at least 5 years
- CSCS card would be an advantage.
- Full clean driving licence
