Our client is a specialist Water Technology Company that is looking to recruit a Product Manager to join their team.
As Product Manager you will be responsible for appraising market pricing & needs, detail product comparisons with company products. Review product / channel offering and work with Marketing to produce USP’s and strategy to help drive Sales.
Duties Include:
- Review and document company products detailing USP and placement channel
- Review, Analyse and document Competitor products , USP’s and placement channel
- Presentation of information in digestible format within timescales
- Create “Customer focused” Technical and Marketing material – showing company products in Best light
- Presentation of information in digestible format within timescales
- Work with Sales Director to define Product Sales strategies taking into account competitor products and sales channels
- Presentation of information in digestible format within timescales
- Work with Marketing to ensure product information is available on relevant marketing media
- Presentation of information in digestible format within timescales
- Maintain & Create Technical library for products
- Presentation of information in digestible format within timescales
- Work with Supply Chain to define product weakness areas be they pricing / feature related. Propose changes to deliver a better customer experience.
- Presentation of information in digestible format within timescales
- Liaise with Sales to provide UK sales forecasting tools to enable supply chain to be better focused on inventory and stocking levels
- Presentation of information in digestible format within timescales
- Provide Customer and Internal focused training for products – works with Customer Service to understand customer requirements.

- Other ad hoc projects as deemed necessary by Sales Director
Experience Required:
- Good knowledge and experience of Products and market approaches
- Awareness Water Treatment products
- An understanding of the Companies product range
- Good working knowledge of Computer systems
- Full understanding of the Companies procedures
- Ability to Monitor, manage and report information as well as project working
- Strong Communication skills – written, verbal and listening and ability to form relationships with managers across the UK and the wider corporation
- Ability to proactively manage a varied and demanding workload
- Highly flexible and adaptable
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to cope well under pressure
- Self motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative

Remuneration:
Salary range £40-£50k
