Our client is an Industrial/Occupational Hygiene, Legionella Control and Health & Safety specialists based in Staffordshire. They have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Water Hygiene Engineer to join our growing and forward-thinking team. This permanent position would be suitable for someone who is looking to further their knowledge in water hygiene and legionella.

 

In this position you will work within the Water Hygiene Team undertaking Legionella Compliance Monitoring, Water Hygiene and Remedial Work Services on client's premises nationally/internationally.

 

You will provide efficient and professional Water Hygiene services and reports to the client base and assist in the continued development of the Company through an enthusiastic and proactive approach to working relationships with both client representatives and company colleagues.

 

 

Duties Include:

  • Undertaking all legionella & water hygiene services at the company’s client's premises nationally/internationally.
  • Undertaking all legionella compliance monitoring & remedial works at the company’s client's premises nationally/internationally.
  • You will be required to work between home & the office to complete reports, organise samples & equipment, manage data, attend team meetings, and collect/drop off equipment and paperwork.
  • To provide our clients with clear, informative, and detailed reports within 10 working days where possible.
  • To undertake and pass regular BOHS & WM Society courses to improve your legionella compliance skills & knowledge.
  • To read standards, old and new and ensure that your knowledge of Water Hygiene is kept up to date.
  • To read and understand new directives and procedures that are introduced.
  • Keep your vehicle clean and tidy and in a road worthy state.
  • To report directly to the Water Hygiene Manager.

 

 

 

Successful candidates for this job require the following:

  • A full UK Driver’s License, clean license is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel around the UK & Europe with overnight stays.
  • Proficient in using IT including Excel, Microsoft Office, Word.
