Our client is a leading Water Treatment Company providing expertise in testing and commissioning of HVAC systems, flushing and water treatment, commissioning management, installation supervision and services management.
They are now recruiting for a Bid Writer to join their Air & Water Treatment Division at the Kent office.
Job Requirements
· Collaborate with the Management team to create bid documents, tenders, PQQs, and presentations.
· Gather content relevant to bidding from various departments, pre-contracts, contracts, marketing, and management to include in submissions. Review and edit content to ensure accuracy and clarity.
· Check for correct use of grammar, spelling, and formatting.
· Participate in draft reviews, workshops, run-throughs, and presentations as required.
· Develop a deep understanding of the industry, competitors, and supply chain.
· Create marketing content that helps achieve the overall marketing function.
Skills and experience:
· Applicants with prior involvement in bid writing will find it beneficial. Nevertheless, graduates or individuals with expertise in other facets of the industry are also encouraged to apply.
· Broad experience in Adobe
· IT literate - Microsoft 365.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Excellent skills in copy-editing, proofreading, and paying attention to detail.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Highly organised, able to work across multiple projects simultaneously.
· Self-motivated and reliable.
· Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
· Eager to learn and develop within the company and receive the necessary training
