A specialist chartered consultancy company based in Norfolk is seeking a full-time Fire Risk Assessor. This role offers a hybrid working setup, combining on-site visits, office-based work, and remote working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fire risk assessments and surveys using the company’s Fire Risk Assessment IT platform.
- Identify and evaluate fire safety risks, providing mitigation and compliance measures.
- Analyze data and prepare detailed reports.
- Collaborate with the Managing Director and clients to ensure fire safety regulations are met.
- Travel to various sites, stay away when necessary, and work closely with the Norfolk-based head office.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Level 3 Fire Risk Assessor (or currently working towards this qualification).
- Membership (or evidence of working towards membership) of IFSM, IFE, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of fire safety and health & safety regulations.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and preparing professional reports.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, Adobe, and bespoke IT applications (e.g., One Trace/Mobiess).
- Valid UK driving license.
